"How Can I Be A Stranger In My Own Homeland...

living under the bondage of babylon..."

Check out "Sign Of The Times" by Shaka Man...from the LP "Baptism Fire" originally a 1986 USA, Florida pressing. Wicked wicked militant tune with a flow that is reminicsent of Barrington Levy - Here I Come.

"Hey Youth..You Cute..."

4 songs on the same riddim:

Trevor Junior - Manchester Video (Thunderbolt 7") - Interesting tune about a sex tape scandal..I think.

Roland Burrell - I Love My Baby (Sir Tommy's Showdown LP) - Sweet tune

Little John - Keep On, Come In (Sir Tommy's Showdown LP)

Johnny P -Anti Litter Law (Blue Mountain 7") - This one surprised me... early tune from Johnny P who did such timeless classics as "you breath a badda me" & "young & she green"

"Babylon A Come Waan Fi Buss Up Wi Throat...

beat we up fi things we nuh know bout..."

One of my favorite tunes. It's on the Various Artists - "Computer Corn" LP

La Loi De Jah

The following tunes are from the lp "Reggae" by Boule Noire. This LP was originally released in 1982 (Canada) and the production is hard hitting. The lyrics are a hybrid of French & English. A must have for any 80s reggae music lover, regardless of your spoken langauge.

If you go to the profile page of the Youtube uploader, NattyRueben, you'll hear a few other cuts from this lp. "La Loi De Jah" is a remake of Kush Dan I's "Law Of Love."
